SUMMER SKETCHING SERIES
This series is designed to introduce middle and high school students to architectural thinking through sketching and drawing. In this two-session workshop, students will explore how architects communicate ideas through drawing.
Session 1 focuses on visual thinking—using simple shapes to represent space, creating quick interior and exterior perspectives, and understanding symmetry and repetition.
Session 2 dives into depth and dimension—teaching how to apply shade and shadow, sketch from still life, and enhance drawings for presentation impact.
